Health Service Certification

This certification provides health service staff the opportunity to demonstrate competency of the essential skills that support children’s health and wellbeing in a developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate manner. This process includes regular opportunities to meet with experts in the field and enhance knowledge throughout the experience. Learners complete a portfolio demonstrating their understanding of twelve essential competencies that support Head Start health services This course aligns with: ✓ The Office of Head Start's 1302 Subpart D—Health Program Services requirements.
