This certificate covers course 1/3 of the Data Literacy Credential: The Wonderful World of Data. Data-driven quality improvement stands to bring unrivaled levels of performance to the Head Start field and is defined and mandated by the Head Start Program Performance Standards. A leader or manager who completes this credential signals to their staff and the Office of Head Start that their program is committed to this level of performance. To earn this credential and demonstrate their knowledge and skills in data literacy, candidates must complete the following three sequential five-week classes: the Wonderful World of Data, Using Head Start Data, and Foundations of Storytelling with Data. These courses are developed and facilitated in partnership with Acorn Evaluations. This course aligns with: ✓ The Office of Head Start's 1302.102 Achieving program goals, with an emphasis on section (c), using data for continuous improvement.
